Scholastic Chess

Mission: Provide a safe and inclusive environment for children and adults to play chess and to receive chess instruction.

Rochester Chess (RC) meets weekly in-person on Tuesdays, 6 – 9 PM, in the Mayo Clinic Harwick Building South Cafeteria, 201 Third Avenue SW, Rochester. Rochester Chess has over 60 active members ranging from 6 to 98 years of age. Each week, approximately 25 children and adults participate in tournaments, play casual games of chess, and study chess in small groups.
