Bughouse + Pizza Tomorrow!
Tuesday – Jack is running a bughouse tournament and we will have pizza to celebrate our accomplishments in the past year, including two new category 3 players, Jack Fulsom and Paul Kinion. Festivities will start around 7:00.

The tournament is primarily for middle school students, high school JV players, and RCTC students. However, high school varsity players are invited play in an informal varsity-only section. This would be a good warm up for the RASCL season which begins on Thursday, Jan 8 at John Marshall High School. Remember the tournament is free!

TCCL Results – LINK
GOLD: The Ultimates beat B2 or Not B2, 3.5-0.5 to move into 5th place. B2 or Not B2 is now in 7th place, but still have a chance to move up by the end of the season.
BRONZE: The Rookies and the Knights both won their matches. The Rookies now sit in FIRST PLACE! Barry and Dennis have won all their games so far! Dennis leads all board 3 players with 4/4 and Barry is in 2nd with 3/3. Barry subbed (and scored a win) for the Ultimates in the one match he missed for the Bronze. The Knights are in a very respectable 6th place out of 26 teams. Paul Kinion is leading all board 4 players with 3.5/4!

RCC Championship
OPEN: Matt Jensen went undefeated 4-0 to win the Open section this year. Jack Fulsom had a strong performance with 1.5/4 gaining 35 rating points.
U1600: Paul Kinion has continued his string of strong performances scoring a perfect 5-0 and gaining 84 rating points!
