2019 Late Summer Slow Chess Tournament. One game per night on August 13, 20, 27 and September 3

Rochester Chess will be hosting a 4-round USCF-rated event: 2019 Late Summer Slow Chess Tournament (G/60 + 30 second increment). Play one game per night on August 13, 20, 27 and September 3. Up to 2 half-point byes may be requested in rounds 1-3. A zero-point bye is available for round 4. USCF membership is required. The plan is to divide the field in two sections based on rating.

Registration: Free for club members who register online prior to noon, August 13 (strongly recommended to help us start on time) or onsite from 6:15 – 6:30 PM. Registration is $5 onsite and $5 for nonmembers.

Blitz for the Masses on Tuesday, August 6, Registration – 6:30 – 6:45 PM

Dexter Thompson will be directing an unrated 5/0 blitz tournament on Tuesday, August 6. Show up by 6:45 PM to register. The entry fee will be $4. 100% of entry fees will be distributed as prizes for first – fifth places.
