Casual Chess, Game Analysis, and Tactics Training Tonight!
Rochester Chess will feature casual chess, game analysis, and tactics training tonight 6:30 – 9:30 PM at RCTC. There will be something for everyone!
Bob Frisby and Jovana Milosevic Win Sections in the Jovana June Tournament.
Bob the Elder (Frisby) finished in first place with 3.5 points in the reserve section of Jovana’s June Tournament. Ethan Igel finished in second place with 3 points. Ethan defeated Steve Lange in an epic battle in the final round. Jovana Milosevic won the upper section with a perfect 4-0 score. Rob Newshutz finished in second place with 3 points. The meeting on July 2 will feature casual chess and game analysis. Bring your games from the Rochester Open and Jovana’s June to analyze with the group.
A mini chess camp for youth and adults will be held on July 6, 9 AM – noon, at RCTC. Jovana, Rob, and Justin will be the lead instructors. Register early as enrollment is limited to 20:

The 4th and final round of Jovana’s June Tournament will be played tonight at RCTC in EA 103. The pairings are below. Games begin at 6:30 PM. Congratulations to Ethan Igel for winning the U1200 section of the recently completed 2019 Rochester Open with a perfect 5-0 score!
