Looking for a chess coach?
International Master John Bartholomew has moved back to Minnesota and is coaching and playing chess full-time now. I added a link to his page in the links section. If you are interested in lessons he is highly recommended by everyone I have talked to. John is the highest rated player in the state and has been studying with many of the top Grandmasters in the country.

RCC Chess.com Team Match
The Rochester Chess Club is going to start a team match on Chess.com in the next few weeks. We are looking for more players to join our team! If you have not used Chess.com before there are many great features on the site including correspondence chess, live chess, tournaments, vote chess, blogs, forums, tactics, and much more.
Click the chess.com link and join our group to receive the team invite. You will be able to take up to 3 days per move with the ability to go on vacation if you are unable to play for an extended period of time.
Right now we have 5 players. I’d like to see at least 8 playing on the team.
