2023 Rochester Winter USCF-Rated Slow Swiss Starts February 7, 4 Rounds
USCF-rated 2023 Winter Swiss of 4 rounds will begin on February 7. Rated games of G/60 + 30 will be played in person, one game per week on Tuesday evenings. Games begin at 6:30 PM. Alternative dates and times can be negotiated if both players agree and they inform me ahead of time. Site: Mayo Clinic Harwick Building, South Cafeteria, 201 3rd Avenue SW, Rochester, MN. Park for free on the street after 5 PM weekdays/all day on weekends or in a nearby parking ramp. Participants must be free of COVID symptoms.
CHESS CLASS BY NATIONAL MASTER MATT JENSEN: CALCULATION TRAINING – A MINI-SERIES.
National Master Matt Jensen and Daniel Garrett will be leading a chess class on “Calculation Training – a Mini-Series” on Tuesday, January 17, 7:00 – 8:00 PM in the Mayo Clinic Harwick Building. The class will occur weekly on Tuesdays throughout January. The class is free for current members of Rochester Chess. Tuition is $10 per attendee per class for nonmembers.
