The Rochester May Slow Rated Tournament starts tomorrow. Below are the players that I have already signed up for the tournament. If for some reason you do not see your name on the list please let me know as soon as possible. There’s also still time to register for the slow tournament. I will take registrations until 7 PM tomorrow 5/3/2016. There will also be a unrated G/15; D5 tournament ran for those that do not wish to participate in the May slow tournament G/90; D5.

Byes: are allowed for rounds 1-4. No byes for the final round. If you need a bye please let me know the night of a completed round.

Tournament start time: 7 PM sharp every Tuesday of May. Clocks will be started  7 PM sharp.

About the instructor (Matt Jensen)

Matt has been playing chess since age 5 and coaching for over 15 years. He was a three time K-3 state champion and a three time K-12 state champion. Matt was able to reach the title of USCF Expert at age 13 and is now a USCF National Master. Matt has experience helping students of all ages and skill levels improve their chess game.

Matt will pair players up for G/30 games with notation. Matt will help players analyze their games. Small break time when finished for speed chess and bughouse.
