Maor gives a simul tomorrow night!

Tomorrow:  Maor will be playing possibly 10 boards or more at one time in a simultaneous exhibition.  This is a free event starting at 7:00 PM.  How often do you get the chance to say you beat a state champion?!  Now you can try to beat Maor while his attention is divided.  Maor just tied for 3rd place in the tiebreaker for high school state championship.

Okoboji Results:  Rochester fared well at the Okoboji Open this year.  Tim Schimke won the U1600 prize, Kevin Gaustad won 2nd place U1800, and Ben Schimke tied for 2nd place in the Reserve.  Great job!  Full crosstables.

Next Grand Prix event: May 5th and May 12th.  See the Grand Prix page for more info.  Please sign-up anytime with Jack for the June Slow Chess.   That will be the last Grand Prix event for this cycle.
