Rochester Scholastic Open 2012 Results

The Rochester Scholastic Open 2012 tournament was a success!  We had eight participants in total, four of them already USCF members.  Mikael Paulik had significant tournament experience so he was not eligible for the USCF membership prizes.  Thanks goes out to Dennis Mays and Jack Fulsom for their help organizing.  George Paulik was very generous and donated some chess books as prizes.  Here are the final standings:

1st – Mikael Paulik | 4.0 | (Won a 1 tournament RCC credit)

2nd – Michael Kern | 3.0 |  (Won a 1-year extension on his USCF membership)

3rd – Charlie Liu | 2.0 | (Won a 1-year extension on his USCF membership)

4th – Ben Lee | 2.0 | (Won a chess book donated by George Paulik)

5th – Logan Slavin | 2.0 | (Won a chess book donated by George Paulik)

6th – Cory Li | 2.0 | (Won a chess book donated by George Paulik)

7th – Richard Xiong | 1.0 |

8th – Ian Kern | 0.5 |
