Chess at Jersey Jo’s Philly Cheesesteaks Today, February 9, 4 – 6 PM.
Jersey Jo’s Philly Cheesesteaks: Come for the chess. Stay for the cheesesteaks. On Thursdays from 4-6 p.m., Jersey Jo’s Philly Cheesesteaks is hosting casual chess at its one-of-a-kind shop at 187 18th Ave SW (in the small strip mall across the Frontage Road from the McDonald’s on 2nd St. SW). Stop in for casual chess and have fun! CLUB WILL BE CLOSED ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 3.
National Master Matt Jensen will be leading a chess class on “Calculation Training – a Mini-Series” starting on Tuesday, January 10, 7:00 – 8:00 PM in the Mayo Clinic Harwick Building. The class will occur weekly on Tuesdays throughout January. Space is limited so please let me know if you would like to attend.
