FREE WINTER SLOW SWISS BEGINS ON DECEMBER 2!
Four rounds of Game/60+30s increment in a Swiss format will be played on Tuesdays, December 2 – January 6. Membership in USCF is required (https://new.uschess.org/join-us-chess). Games start at 6:30 PM. Half-point byes are available for schedule conflicts. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each section. TD Matt Markland will be playing and directing. News: Eighty-eight chess players competed in the MSCA class championships on November 15 and 16 at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester. Final standings can be found on the MSCA site: https://www.minnesotachess.com/.

The Minnesota Chess Class Championships will be held in Rochester on November 15-16. Due to concerns about construction and parking, the tournament venue has been moved to the Mayo Civic Center, Suites 106 & 107, 30 Civic Center Drive SE, Rochester, MN.
