Due to renovations in the Harwick Cafeterias, round 3 of the 2020 Winter Slow Tournament, tomorrow, January 21, 6:30 – 9:30 PM, will be in the Mayo Clinic Support Center South Cafeteria, 3050 Superior Dr NW, Rochester, MN 55901. Park in the employee lot. Enter the building through the south employee entrance. Press the red intercom button and tell Mayo security you are there for chess. Follow the signs to the south cafeteria. Allow extra time to find the playing site. Clocks will start at 6:30 PM. Call/text me at 507-254-6809 if you have questions. 

Enclosed are the pairings for the swiss. We are looking for a house person to play an extra game.

Chess on Tuesday, December 10 will feature TCCL team training (unrated G/90, delay 5 s) and casual chess. Games start at 6:30 PM.

Round 4 (final) of the 2019 Fall Slow rated chess tournament will be held on Tuesday, December 3 in the Mayo Clinic Harwick South Cafeteria. The weather forecast looks favorable.  🙂  Games start at 6:30 PM. See earlier post for pairings. If you are unable to play, please notify me as soon as possible. 

Mark your calendar for the next slow tournament (G/60, 30 s increment) which will start on January 7. At least one master has committed to playing. There will be cash prizes. Stay tuned for details.
