Chess Camps Next Week!

The Rochester Chess Club will be holding two chess camps next week. Both camps run from Monday through Friday 6:00PM-8:30PM. If you cannot make the full week accommodations can be made for you. Jack Fulsom is running a camp that will cover basic chess principles and chess theory, which are then needed fundamentals of all chess players. This camp is intended for most students and parents are encouraged to participate. Rob Newshutz is running a camp that will cover tactics in-depth. This camp is highly recommended for more experienced players, and will definitely improve your tactical eye.
Both of these coaches have a lot of experience teaching, and are very knowledgeable! If you have not signed up yet and are interested you can send an email to Dennis Mays (dennis_mays<at>q.com) or Jack Fulsom (jfulsom<at>charter.net). You can also arrive onsite any of the days to join. The camp pages below have more information as well as the registration forms. Hope to see you there!
Tuesday night we will still be meeting for casual chess and possibly an unrated tournament. I encourage parents or siblings of camp attendees to come play some chess with other members. There is no cost to play and the site is well air conditioned!
