Edwin Albrecht Turned 101!
Contributed by Bob Richardson – Our most senior club member Edwin Albrecht recently turned an amazing 101 years old! His daughter treated him to a quiet night out with dinner and friends on his birthday.
Edwin is still going strong playing chess! He is sharp as ever; watch out for his surprise attacks on the flank. He maintains an account on chess.com as user eyedoc242. He is always studying chess moves and strategies.
Edwin keeps busy with playing his guitar; reading books by his favorite author Danielle Steele, and of course playing chess! Club members play online games with Edwin. Currently, he resides in an independent senior living community near the cities.

Happy birthday Edwin! 1.e4!
