Rochester Chess will be holding an unrated blitz (5 min/2 s increment) chess tournament on Tuesday, July 16 at RCTC in Room EA 103. Registration will be from 6:30 – 6:45 PM. Games begin at 6:50. Casual chess will be available to those players who desire a more relaxed pace. Thanks to Paul Kinion and the RCTC math department for providing the chess equipment and space.

Rochester Chess will have an exhibit at the Farmers’ Market on Saturday, July 20. 9 AM – noon. The market is an opportunity to help spread your love of chess. Visitors range from serious players to individuals who are interested in learning more about the game. It is a lot of fun and you can take time out to pick up some locally grown vegetables. 🙂 We will be at the back of the market on the grass near the river and in the shade of an enormous cotton wood tree.
