RESULTS OF THE 2022 ROCHESTER SLOW SPRING SWISS ARE IN!
The 2022 Rochester Slow Spring Swiss was held in April and May with one slow game (G/60+30) per week (5 rounds total) on Tuesday evenings at the Rochester Chess Club. Tim Schimke continued his winning ways by finishing in first place with 4.5 points. Tim was nicked for a half-point in round 5 by runner up Michael Kern. Michael and Kevin Gaustad tied for 2nd and 3rd places with 4 points. The scholastic star player Isaac Sellon (7th grader at Friedell) and UW Madison Sophomore Charlie Johnson finished tied for 4th and 5th places with 3.5 points. Entry was free for this event. 100% for the entry fees were returned as prizes. 😉
