SPRING ONLINE SLOW SWISS STARTING ON APRIL 20
The tournament will be a 4-round swiss. Chess.com rated games of G/60 + 30 will be played online once per week on Chess.com on Tuesday evenings starting on Tuesday, April 20. Games begin at 6:45 PM. Alternative dates and times can be negotiated if both players agree and they inform me ahead of time. Register before noon on Tuesday, April 20 to be paired in the first round. 1/2-point byes are available for any round. Congratulations to Michael Kern for finishing in clear first place with 3.5 out of 4 points in Isaac’s Slow Swiss which was held on March 16 – April 13, 2021.
There is Still Time Sign Up for the Rochester March Rapid-2 on Lichess!
1. Log on Lichess.org with your username and password (or create an account www.lichess.org )
2. On the Lichess home page hover over “community” at the top of the page
3. Click on “teams” then click on “all teams”; type “Rochester Chess” in the search box
4. Click on “Rochester Chess” in the search list and click on “Join” team.
5. After approval, go to the home page and hover over “play” at the top of the page. Click on “Swiss Tournaments”
6. Click on “Rochester Chess March Rapid” in the list of tournaments. Currently it is at the top of the list of upcoming tournaments.
