ROUND 4 PAIRINGS IN THE WARMUP SWISS
Four players are vying for first place in the warmup swiss. The last round will be on June 11 at the club. Games begin at 6:30 PM. Let me know if you would like to start your game later.
Master Matt Jensen and others will be analyzing some of their recent games at the club on June 18 and 25.
ROCHESTER OPEN FIRST EARLY REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS JUNE 7!
The Rochester Open Chess Tournament is back on July 6-7, 2024! This USCF-rated event will feature five rounds in five sections. $5,400 in total prizes will be awarded, including $1,000 for first place in the Premier section. Free chess class for beginners from 5:30 – 7:00 PM will be led by Coach Grant in room 1-12
Casual chess is available for all others.

Last year 154 players participated in what was the largest chess tournament in Minnesota to be held outside the Twin Cites.
