ROCHESTER CHESS WILL BE HOSTING A FREE EVENT AT THE FARMERS MARKET ON SEPTEMBER 17
Rochester Chess will host a free chess exhibit at the Farmers Market farmers market rochester mn on the fairgrounds on Saturday, September 17, 9 – 11:45 AM. Children and adults are invited to play chess games and receive instruction from our team of experienced chess coaches. Chess sets will be provided. The market is an opportunity to share your love of chess. If you do not know how to play chess, no problem, we will teach you! This event will be a lot of fun. We will be in the large grassy area near the music. No registration is required. Stop by anytime!

REMINDER: IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE SO ALREADY, REGISTER FOR THE FALL SWISS WHICH STARTS ON SEPTEMBER 13.
The Fall Slow Swiss will be a 5-round, G/60 + 30, USCF-rated event starting on September 13. Entry fee is $3 for current members and $5 for nonmembers. CLUB WILL BE MEETING ON SEPTEMBER 6. DOORS OPEN AT 6 PM.
A G/5 + 2s delay blitz tournament will begin at 6:45 PM. Casual chess and puzzle solving will be available to others.
