FREE STRATEGIC CHESS COURSE BY WFM JOVANA MILOSEVIC: MY SYSTEM BY ARON NIMZOVITSCH, A NEW TRANSLATION
Master Milosevic will be leading a strategic chess class based on the book My System by Aron Nimzowitsch, A New Translation. The class will meet on Zoom once per week from 1:00-2:30 PM CDT on Saturdays beginning on August 27, 2022. Master Milosevic will cover the first half of the book in 8 classes, which are free to members of Rochester Chess. You can check your membership status here: https://rochesterchess.com/?page_id=3099

RESULTS OF THE 2022 SUMMER SWISS
Congratulations to Tim Schimke for winning first place in the summer swiss by a full point with a score of 4.5/5.0. Roy Knuth and Paull Kinion shared 2nd-3rd places with 3.5 points each. Tim generously donated his $50 first place prize back to the club. Thank you Tim! Roy and Paul split $35. REMINDER TO PRE-REGISTER FOR THE ROCHESTER MINI-CHESS CAMP FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS, SATURDAY, JULY 23, 2022, 9 AM – NOON AT MAYO CLINIC HARWICK BUILDING CAFETERIA
The camp will only be held if we have enough pre-registrants (minimum = 10).
