ROCHESTER CHESS: FREE EVENT AT THE FARMERS MARKET ON JUNE 18
Rochester Chess will host a free chess exhibit at the Farmers Market https://www.rochfarmmkt.org/ on the fairgrounds on Saturday, June 18, 9 AM – noon. Children and adults are invited to play chess games and receive instruction from our team of experienced chess coaches. Chess sets will be provided. The market is an opportunity to share your love of chess. If you do not know how to play chess, no problem, we will teach you! This event will be a lot of fun. We will be in the large grassy area near the music. No registration is required. Stop by anytime! We hope to see you there.

Children and adults are invited to play chess games and receive instruction from our team of experienced chess coaches. Chess sets will be provided. The market is an opportunity to share your love of chess and to pick up some fresh vegetables. 😉

Rochester Mini-Chess Camp for Youth and Adults, Saturday, June 25, 2022, 9 AM – Noon at Mayo Clinic Harwick Building Cafeteria
Aimed at players rated U1400 USCF or below. Participants will be divided in to groups based on their chess playing experience. Lead instructors: Grant Jones and Dennis Mays

Tactics!
9:30 – 10:30
• Advanced Participants: Play one game (G/30 with notation). Coaches will help players analyze their games afterwards.
• Intermediate and Novice Participants: Opening principles and Opening tactics will be discussed.
10:30 – 11:15
Deep game analysis of their annotated game with a chess coach
11:15– 12:00 PM
