National Chess Master Matt Jensen is known for his strong play in over the board chess tournaments. He recently finished in sole first place in the 2021 Rochester Masters Invitational Tournament. He is famous for his chess improvement program ChessGoals https://chessgoals.com/. Club member and the March Swiss winner Jesse Buss is a co organizer of ChessGoals. Their opening recommendations are based on what we can expect in games against other club players (1600 – 2200) (not necessarily what the top grandmasters are playing).

If you want to play in the simul, please arrive and register by 6:30 PM. The simul begins at 6:45 PM. No late entries will be permitted. The time control is G/45 + 30. Participants must record their moves. Let me know if you have any questions.
