Advanced Chess Class Series by Woman FIDE Master Jovana Milosevic. Starting on September 18, Noon – 1:30 PM on Zoom.
Jovana Milosevic is a Woman FIDE Master with two Woman International Master Norms. She has played competitively and studied chess for 15 years. Some of her greatest achievements include winning first place in Balkan Chess Championship and South Eastern Europe Chess Championship twice and second place in European Rapid Chess Championship. Also, she won first place in the Serbia Youth Chess Championship and second place in Serbia Woman Chess Championship. Jovana is the 2019 Minnesota Woman Chess Champion. Note by the organizer: Jovana is an excellent chess coach. She breaks down complex material so that less experienced chess players can learn from her. She has conducted numerous chess classes with members of Rochester Chess. I can say from personal experience that Master Milosevic is a gifted teacher/coach.

ROCHESTER CHESS AT THE FARMERS MARKET ON SEPTEMBER 11, 9 AM – NOON
Rochester Chess, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, will host a free chess exhibit at the Farmers Market on the fairgrounds on Saturday, September 11, 9 AM – noon. Children and adults are invited to play chess games and receive instruction from our team of experienced chess coaches. Chess sets and masks will be provided. The market is an opportunity to share your love of chess and pick up some fresh vegetables!
If you do not know how to play chess, we will teach you! We will be in the large grassy area near the music. No registration is required. Stop by anytime! More experienced chess players are invited to help newer players to learn more about chess. I hope to see you there. Questions? Contact Dennis Mays dennismays101@gmail.com
