2022 STEAM SUMMIT WAS A SUCCESS
More than 100 middle school and high school students visited the Rochester Chess exhibit at the 2022 STEAM Summit held on November 15 at RCTC. Thanks to Paul Kinion, Alejandro Decaire, Ethan Haselius, and Bob Richardson for volunteering to instruct the students. Our motto is “Grow Your Brain: Play Chess!”. It is well known that chess helps develop critical thinking skills that are useful in STEAM careers. Grandmaster Paul made it on local TV (0:39) in the video. https://www.kttc.com/2022/11/15/rochester-community-technical-college-hosts-steam-summit-tuesday/
