FREE CASUAL CHESS AT NOVIOS CAFE ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 1 – 3 PM.

Join Dave Frogner and others for free casual chess at Novios on Thursday, November 7, 1 – 3 PM. It is not too late to enjoy a pumpkin pie latte with oat milk while you are playing chess!

KIDS’ NIGHT AND CASUAL CHESS ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5!

Kids and adults are invited to play chess for fun! Doors open at 6 PM. Our hope is that experienced adult players will share their knowledge with less experienced youngsters.

REMINDER: Register for the November scholastic tournament on November 23: Four rounds of Game/30, d5s in a Swiss Style format will be played. All participants will play 4 games. No elimination. Participation in the K12 USCF-rated sections requires a USCF membership (https://new.uschess.org/join-us-chess). Chess sets and clocks will be provided. Half-point byes are available to accommodate schedule conflicts.

Trophies/medals will be awarded to the top 7 finishers in each section.
