ROUND 2 PAIRINGS OF THE FALL CLASSICAL MINI SWISSES.
Round 2 pairings of the classical Fall mini swisses are below. Games start at 6:30 PM (G/60;d30). If you are paired but cannot make it to your game, please inform me as soon as possible.
Round 6 of the classical quads will be played on September 5. Rescheduled games can be played on September 12 and 19. Quad games begin at 6:45 PM or earlier if opponents agree in advance.
LEARN AND PLAY CHESS AT THE FARMERS MARKET ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 9 AM – NOON.
Rochester Chess will host a free chess exhibit at the Farmers Market on the Olmsted County fairgrounds (Rochester Farmers Markets) on Saturday, September 2, 9 AM – noon. Children and adults are invited to play chess games and receive instruction from our team of experienced chess coaches. Chess sets will be provided. The market is an opportunity to share your love of chess and to pick up some fresh vegetables. 😉
If you don’t know how to play chess? No problem, we will teach you! We will be in the large grassy area near the band. Stop by anytime!

Congratulations to John Bitz for winning the Summer Classical Swiss with a perfect 4-0 score! George Paulik, Anthony Szarka, and Ethan Kaske tied for 2 – 4 places with scores of 3-1.
