REMINDER TO REGISTER FOR SUMMER CLASSICAL CHESS.
By popular demand, Rochester Chess will continue USCF-rated classical chess in round robin quads at a time control of G/60; 30-second delay. Participants who are available to play 6 games will play in a double round robin one game with white and one game with black (one game per week) in a 4-player section against players of similar skill level. One or more sections of a mini-swiss or quad (3 games only) will be added for players who cannot commit to playing 6 games. THE WEEK IN ROCHESTER CHESS
Chess club will open at 5 PM on Tuesday, July 18, for a class with Coach Grant. This class is free to participants in Coach Grant’s recent camp.
You are invited to bring one or more of your chess games from the 2023 Rochester Open to share with other club members. Last week we enjoyed analyzing the hard-fought games of Spencer, Charlie, and Grant.
