Chess and Cheesesteak Thursday, October 13, 4 – 6 PM
Come for the chess. Stay for the cheesesteaks. On Thursdays from 4-6 p.m. (or later), Jersey Jo’s Philly Cheesesteaks is back to hosting casual chess at its one-of-a-kind shop at 187 18th Ave SW (in the small strip mall across the Frontage Road from the McDonald’s on 2nd St. SW). Stop in for casual chess. That is all you need to do. All games are scheduled to start at 6:30 PM except for Wilson’s game which is scheduled to start at 6:45 PM. Players may start earlier if their opponents agree.
Kids Stuff: Experienced chess players are invited to stop by to help some kids improve their chess.
