MINI CHESS CAMP FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS ON SATURDAY, JUNE 28, 9 AM – NOON, MAYO CLINIC HARWICK BUILDING.
Instructors: Soren Wiedmann, Justin Ricker, and Kevin Gaustad.
Approximate Camp Schedule:
- 8:45 – 9 am – Check in
- 9 am – Tactics with coaching on approach to solving puzzles
- 10 am – Annotated rapid games (G15 +10) + analysis by experienced coaches
- 11 am – Exploiting inaccuracies, lecture and discussion by experienced coach
- Noon – Wrap-up
Tuition: $30 + $10 for each additional family member. Payable onsite (cash or check only). Contact Dennis Mays for information about scholarships.
