Summer 2022 USCF-Rated Slow Swiss, Starts June 28, 5 Rounds.

USCF-rated Summer Swiss of 5 rounds will begin on June 28. Rated games of G/60 + 30 will be played in person, one game per week on Tuesday evenings. Games begin at 6:30 PM. Alternative dates and times can be negotiated if both players agree and they inform me ahead of time. Register before noon on Monday, June 27 to be paired in the first round. Half-point byes are permitted. Registration is free.

Site: Mayo Clinic Harwick Building, South Cafeteria, 201 3rd Avenue SW, Rochester, MN. Park for free on the street after 5 PM weekdays/all day on weekends or in a nearby parking ramp. Participants must be free of COVID symptoms. Regarding Mayo Clinic regulations, unvaccinated attendees must wear a mask. These regulations are subject to change. If you have not already done so, please get vaccinated and boosted for the safety of all.

Blitz, Bughouse, and Casual Quads will be featured on June 14. The Summer 5-round Slow Swiss will start on June 28. Registration details will be posted soon.

FREE ENTRY FOR MASTERS DEADLINE IN THE 2022 ROCHESTER OPEN HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JUNE 18.

Registration by June 18 (note extension of one week) is required for free entry for masters in the 2022 Rochester Open. All Masters, including those whose current rating is equal to or less than 2200, can register for free by sending an email to Dane Zagar (danezagar@gmail.com) and Dennis Mays (dennismays101@gmail.com) with your USCF ID and noting any bye requests.
